    A session designed for case managers and line staff responsible for ensuring the “supply” of quality candidates is ready to meet the “demand” of employers. Topics include strategies assisting clients with career planning, learning how to articulate their skills, transition planning, job seeking strategies and how to bridge the gap between training and placement. 

  • Employer Engagement

    This workshop provides practical strategies for recruiting employer partners and focuses on the connection between engagement and job placement. The session will discuss the Demand Driven System, how to approach employers, recruit them and educate them on the benefits of the workforce system. 

  • Mentoring

    The starting point for any mentoring program begins with two important questions: 1. Why are you starting this program? 2. What does success look like for participants and the organization? To answer these questions, you will need to dive deep to understand your target audience. Make sure you understand who they are, where they are, their development needs, and their key motivations to participate. Translate your vision into SMART objectives: specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound. Objectives provide direction to program participants and help organizational leaders understand why they should offer their support. 

  • Partnership Development

    There are two type so partnerships, internal and external. Often those within or across departments must be evaluated and strengthened in order to cultivate external partnerships. This workshop provides attendees with tools to evaluate their existing partnerships, identify strengths, needs, resources and most importantly how to develop a strategic plan to build both type of partnerships. 

  • Career Pathways

    Before placing a client in a job they may have questions about growth potential, earnings and sustainability. This can also provide valuable insight into the types of training programs your agency wants to fund and what employers expect. Job Developers, Program Managers and other Educational leaders would be appropriate to attend this component. 

  • Time Management

    Personal time management skills are essential for professional success in any workplace. Those able to successfully implement time management strategies are able to control their workload rather than spend each day in a frenzy of activity reacting to crisis after crisis - stress declines and personal productivity soars! These highly effective individuals are able to focus on the tasks with the greatest impact to them and their organization. The Time Management workshop will cover strategies to help participants learn these crucial strategies. 

  • Conflict Resolution

    Wherever two or more people come together, there is bound to be conflict. This course will give participants a seven-step conflict resolution process that they can use and modify to resolve conflict disputes of any size. In this workshop, participants will learn crucial conflict management skills, including dealing with anger and using the Agreement Frame. 

  • Bi-Level Case Management

    This training focuses on two types of case management strategies. The bi-level approach which requires information and action from both line staff and leadership. Once this system is learned and applied the process of Effective Case Management can begin. Applying an effective case management approach includes professional development training of staff, a seamless system with governing policies on all aspects of the customer/clients program experience and rigorous follow up to ensure outcomes are met and documented. Attendees will learn the core fundamentals of these approaches, strategies for implementation and skills to apply them. 

  • Performance Reporting and Grant Management

    Being able to analyze performance data and make a direct link to a challenge or best practice in a program design is part of ongoing quality assurance for any organization. This training is designed to provide Program Managers, Directors and other leadership staff the skills needed to effectively analyze their performance data, understand the link between the numbers and the activities and address gaps in service delivery quickly. 

  • Grant Writing This workshop focuses on the core fundamentals of responding to funding opportunities from Federal and State Agencies. Principles and strategies discussed include; How to read and interpret Federal Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA), scoring and evaluation process, identifying objectives and goals and organization strategies for prompt submission.

  • Customer Service Design & Delivery providing quality customer service begins with a quality internal customer service design that can then spread to external customers. Core areas discussed are how to foster both internal and external customer service, building strong relationships, communication and developing a customer bill of rights.
