Facilitating Career Development (FCD) training can enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals who work in any type of career development setting.
As a participant, individuals will receive training in each of the 12 career development competencies The training includes hands-on and interactive teaching methods and opportunities to interact with colleagues from a variety of work settings. Since the course content covers 12 important competencies, there is plenty of opportunity to build skills and knowledge in areas that are new to you, as well as enhance and develop those that you use every day in your work.
Not only does the training provide the opportunity for individuals to build skills in the 12 competencies , (Career resources and labor market information, Career planning processes, Basic helping and facilitation skill, Career development models and theories, Informal and formal assessment approaches, Diversity and specific population needs, Development and maintenance of an effective career resource center, Training others and program promotion, Case management and referral skills, Ethical and scope-of-practice issues, Professional and resource portfolios, Cutting-edge job searching), it may also allow individuals to become eligible to apply for the following premiere certifications which are recognized worldwide:
1. GCDF - Global Career Development Facilitator
2. CCSP - Certified Career Services Provider
3. CWDP - Certified Workforce Development Professional

Registration Fee | Payment for registration covers the Facilitating Career Development Training Course and Required Text Only. Application for associated certifications, memberships and fees associated are the responsibility of the registrant and paid directly to the appropriate certifying organization. All other costs (travel and accommodations) are the sole responsibility of the registrant.
Cancellation Policy | Cancellation requests can be submitted to Tressa Dorsey (email@example.com). A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. Registration fees are non-refundable for cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the training start date. TAD Grants reserves the right to transfer registration fees on an individual basis and when training space is available.
