Enhanced Certified Business Services Consultant™ Training – Kentucky
This Business Services Consultant curriculum is developed with input from leaders and practitioners within the Workforce and Economic Development Industries to ensure its fidelity and applicable value in the field. Those that successfully complete the training and demonstrate their competence through their documented application of knowledge will earn their certification while raising the professional standards for Business Services across the country. This course is pre-approved for continuing education hours for those that hold the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential by the Center for Credentialing & Education.
This course consists of three live instructor-led interactive classes lasting five hours each. It combines individual course work and assignments with group activities and discussion. Attendees from around the country will work together, learning the four-step CBSC™ process and share best practices for engaging the business community.

Day One – January 24th, 2024 | 9:00 am to 4:00 pm | Content: Business Engagement Step 1 of the CBSC™ process
Day Two – January 25th, 2024 | 9:00 am to 4:00 pm | Content: CBSC™ Process Steps 2 & 3 Discovery and Solutions with activities and case study review.
Day Three – January 26th, 2024 | 9:00 am to 1:00 pm | Content: CBSC™ Process Step 4 Follow-Up, Customer Service, Case Study Review and Certification Requirements Review
Once a student successfully completes the course they will complete a Field Study on a business in their community and document their efforts and demonstrate their mastery of the competencies of the CBSC™ training. After a review of their final project, successful students will earn their Business Services Consultant Certification through the TAD Grants Certemy system.
