Rapid Reemployment & Training Strategies

Description:  Finding a “new normal” is an ongoing endeavor for each and every one of us as we navigate life amidst a global pandemic. Now more than ever, Workforce Development Professionals will be called upon to provide their customers with the guidance they need to re-enter the workforce (or training) safely and quickly; to identify and engage in a career pathway that offers them opportunities for long term growth; and to support themselves and their families.  To address this pressing and immediate need, TAD Grants has developed the Rapid Re-employment and Training Strategies workshop.

Format:  This recorded, interactive, 2-hour workshop will provide case managers and front-line Workforce Development Professionals with the tools, support and encouragement they need to carry out the great responsibility of serving individuals and communities that have been impacted by COVID-19-related unemployment.

The workshop is holistic in nature and will include modules such as:

• Coping with Stress and Offering Hope
• Building Resiliency
• Career Planning Strategies
• Developing Impactful Transition and Action Plans
• Job Search Strategies
• Bridging the Gap Between Training and Placement
