The Workforce and Career Development Certification® Training (WCDC)® explores the career and workforce development competencies required for the effective delivery of high-quality, career development services. The WCDC® training utilizes the National Career Development Associations’ Facilitating Career Development curriculum and is built upon three nationally accredited, and industry-recognized certifications; including the Certified Career Services Provider Certification (CCSP), Global Career Development Facilitator Certification (GCDF), and the Certified Workforce Development Professional Certification (CWDP).
The WCDC® coursework includes over 20 core competencies that all workforce development professionals should possess in order to provide their customers with superior service and expertise in the areas of assessment, career planning, business services, working with diverse populations, and ethics.
TAD Grants uses a blended approach that is a mix of online learning and instructor-led webinars that includes weekly assignments and targeted instructor feedback.
Upon successful completion and mastery of the WCDC® curriculum, including adequate completion of all assignments and demonstration of required participation, students will receive a Certificate of Completion from TAD Grants. This certificate confirms that the student has gained the knowledge and core competencies, and may be used to apply for the above-listed certifications.
Disclaimer: TAD Grants provides the training as described above. TAD Grants does not guarantee that students meet the requirements for the above-listed certifications. It is recommended that interested parties review each respective certification application process to determine eligibility.
