Workforce and Career Development Certification® Training – MontCo Works

The Workforce and Career Development Certification® Training (WCDC)® explores the career and workforce development competencies required for the effective delivery of high-quality, career development services. The training utilizes the National Career Development Associations’ Facilitating Career Development curriculum and is built upon three nationally accredited, and industry-recognized certifications; including the Certified Career Services Provider Certification (CCSP), Global Career Development Facilitator Certification (GCDF), and the Certified Workforce Development Professional Certification (CWDP).

The WCDC® coursework includes over 20 core competencies that all workforce development professionals should possess in order to provide their customers with superior service and expertise in the areas of assessment, career planning, business services, working with diverse populations, and ethics.

TAD Grants uses a blended approach that is a mix of online learning and instructor-led webinars that includes weekly assignments and targeted instructor feedback.

Additional Fee: $150.00 Students are required to purchase the text materials from the National Career Development Association at least one week before the start of their scheduled class. Texts may be purchased here: Facilitating Career Development Course Materials.

Upon successful completion and mastery of the WCDC® curriculum, including adequate completion of all assignments and demonstration of required participation, students will receive a Certificate of Completion from TAD Grants. This certificate confirms that the student has gained the knowledge and core competencies, and may be used to apply for the above-listed certifications.

Refund Policy: Students understand that the purchase of the WCDC Course is for the seat/place in the course and is a reservation, thus the WCDC course fees paid are non-refundable. If a student would like to withdraw from the course, this must be done via email sent directly to the Instructor within 2 weeks of the course commencement date. The student may then join the next available cohort at no additional cost. If a student withdraws after 2 weeks, the course fee will not be refunded and the student will not be eligible to enroll in the next available cohort without paying additional fees.
