Workforce development is an important career, especially in today’s economic & workforce climate. How can you, as a workforce professional, show credibility as a career coach? The Workforce & Career Development Refresher Course will offer you the opportunity to get training and the opportunity to apply for THREE industry-recognized credentials. This training is supplemental training for those that already have one of the three credentials, but would like to be able to obtain all three, or for those that would like a refresher training on Facilitator Career Development concepts and application. This is a custom training for our system and is being offered at a reduced rate.
TAD Grants and the Michigan Works Association are partnering to bring you the Workforce & Career Development Certification Refresher Course (WCDC-RC), a dynamic training built upon best practices in professional development for workforce and career professionals. This training, customized for Michigan’s diverse economy and delivered in a hybrid format, will feature an in-person kick-off meeting in Lansing, a series of e-learning courses, and weekly live webinars. Not only will the students rediscover the best practices shared within the Facilitating Career Development curriculum, but participants will also have the opportunity to meet the competency requirements associated with the Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) certification, CCSP, and/ or GCDF.
As an additional benefit, students will also receive 30 Continuing Education hours that meet CCSP and GCDF credential requirements. Don’t miss this chance to connect with and learn from colleagues across the state while growing your expertise in Career Development!
Disclaimer: TAD Grants provides the training as described above. TAD Grants does not guarantee that students meet the requirements for the above-listed certifications. It is recommended that interested parties review each respective certification application process to determine eligibility.
