As a Workforce Development leader, he is highly successful in the space of “help”, for the at-risk and underserved community.
Residing in Prince George’s County, Maryland, BJ was recently awarded the Greater Washington Community Foundation Emerging Leadership Award the DMV 48 Men of Power, both the inaugural awards of its kind; he truly serves the people in many impactful ways.
He was awarded Top Forty Under 40; he was honored with The Maryland General Assembly Official Citation for his Community Commitment; he was also awarded the Citizen of the Year from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and presented with the “Real Good People Award” with the radio station WPGC 95.5 and host of more awards. Course Overview: TAD Grants and BJ Paige have partnered in offering this Youth Services Consultant Certification (YSCC) training, which you will learn a host of tools to add to your toolbox. Use these tools immediately after this training to help both you and your organization learn some detailed training that will lead you to become one of the newest Youth Services Consultant. With your YSCC Certification, you will be equipped with the specific training in what we call the 3R’s – Recruitment, Retention, and Relationships. We will break the 3R’s down into three chapters which will have some real time transparency practice for you to do today in the community and share with us to solidify your training. Our goal is for you, yes you, to be considered a professional leader of this new age youth and young adult space finding them careers and trainings while leading them to be the best future leaders of the world that they can be
We are using a blended approach that is a mix of online learning and instructor-led webinars that includes weekly assignments and targeted instructor feedback.
Average Hours Per Week Spent on Course Work: three to four days a week with a weekly two-hour webinar in duration and are mandatory.
The course is approximately three weeks in length and may vary based on holidays and class progression.
